What will a Chemical Peel Eye Treatment involve?
Your skin care practitioner will complete a detailed consultation to establish your skin type, condition and skin care improvement goals, all of which will decide the best Chemical Peel treatment to suit your skin.

Some of the active ingredients used in the Mesoestetic peel formulas are AHA’S – PHA’S – BHA’S – RA’S . These include:

We always work progressively not aggressively where every program starts with a Mesopeel and works up to the more intense version to ensure skin suitability.

If you are undertaking a course of Chemical Peel treatments, it is very common for underlying deep congestion to work to the surface of the skin. Your skin practitioner may advise to take a Steam & Pore Extraction, which will enable us to remove any blockage as it appears.

Does it hurt?
Some mild to moderate heat with discomfort may be experienced during the time of the Chemical Peel application; care is taken to make it as comfortable as possible.
A sensation of sensitivity and skin tightening may be experienced immediately post treatment and depending on the type of Chemical Peel applied can last up to 2 days; it may be followed by skin dryness whilst the dead skin is peeling; the severity of these symptoms will depend on the strength of the Chemical Peel taken.

How many treatments do I need?
A single treatment provides outstanding brightening results. However, depending on your skin condition and your skin improvement goals, you may need further treatments to achieve desired results.
A course of 3 to 5 treatments taken every 2 weeks is advised.

How quickly will I see the results?
You will see skin brightening results immediately. However, if you opt for a stronger Chemical Peel there is a 1 to 2 day peeling process where the skin can appear dry and flaky until the completion of the peeling, then the true results become visible.

How long will the results last?
Commencing a single treatment the skin will appear clearer and brighter for several weeks and up to several months commencing a course of treatments. However, this depends on many factors such as how one cares for one’s skin post treatment, the severity of one’s natural oil production, diet, stress, hormone influences and lifestyle.

Side Effects & Aftercare Post Peel Treatment
There is a recovery and healing period post peel treatment; therefore treat as a hyper sensitive skin.

During the first 48 hours it is advised to only use the products provided by your skin care practitioner.

After 48 hours you can use a mineral base make-up.

Avoid the following for the next 14 days:
Waxing, hair removal/bleaching, hair dye, AHA’s, BHA’s, Retinol, self-tanning lotions; swimming, exercise, massage, heat treatments, sauna and steam.

It is strongly advised to avoid sun, sunbed, UV exposure whilst on the program to ensure the best possible effect and prolong results.

Do not peel, pick, scratch or scrape the skin, or any loose skin resulting from the treatment, this must come off in its own time with no assistance; ignoring this advice can lead to scarring.

At any point if the skin feels irritated and in need of some calming; apply Fast Skin Repair and or Anti-Stress Face Mask. If the skin requires more moisture, apply Hydra Factor K Moisturiser.

It is a MUST to wear Sun Protection SPF 50+ daily.

I have recurring milia so I’m constantly coming to see her for extractions. Before my first visit she answered all of my questions and made me feel like she really cared before I’d even met her.
