Permanent Lip Blush

Permanent Lip Blush is a type of Permanent make-up, also known as cosmetic tattoo or micropigmentation, is a cosmetic technique which uses a device containing iron oxide to tattoo the skin to create the look of makeup.

A well-defined and shaped lip line with a natural color blush is one of the most important facial features and can create an immediate, positive impact. Whether your lip line has diminished with age, or simply in need of definition, permanent makeup can transform your mouth.

The Permanent Lip Blush technology used, along with an artistic skill, provides a semi-permanent tattoo using the same method as the Ombre Brows, called pixelating, which deposits small, undetectable dots of pigment to line and shade the lips creating extremely natural results.

A variety of Permanent Lip Blush styles are available from soft and natural colour that resembles a lip tint to a complete lipstick effect and lip line.

An ideal treatment procedure to achieve fuller and naturally defined looking lips.

What is Permanent Lip Blush?

Permanent Lip Blush, also known as cosmetic tattoo or micropigmentation, is a cosmetic technique which uses a device containing iron oxide to tattoo the skin to create the look of makeup.

The used technology along with an artistic skill provide several options of permanent make-up from microblading individual hair strokes, colour wash ombre or ‘brow mist’ creating extremely natural results and have developed techniques for the most hyper real hair strokes that mimic your own hair.

An ideal treatment procedure to achieve a more dramatic or natural defined looking brows.

What will my Permanent Lip Blush treatment involve?

After a detailed consultation where you will be asked to fill out a form to establish if there are any reasons why you may not be suitable for permanent make-up, we will then patch test you for the treatment.

Patch tests involve a small scratch to the skin (usually behind the ear) and pigment and anesthetic creams will be applied. This will determine if you are likely to have any reactions to the treatment and must be carried out a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment. If you are unable to get to the clinic for your patch test, a home kit can be sent upon request.

At your appointment an anesthetic cream will be applied to the area. Your practitioner will then draw on your brows with pencil to determine the best shape for your new brows.

Communications between yourself and visually checking in a mirror will determine the most suited shape to suit you. Then the desired pigment colour is mixed. Upon agreement of the shape and colour the creation of your new brows will begin as the practitioner applies the pigment via the needling device. Anesthetic cream may be applied throughout the entire treatment.

Why have the procedure?

Permanent lip blush and lip line are a great way to define and frame the mouth instantly. Many women decide upon permanent lip line and blush due to their lips becoming thinner and less defined with age.

Permanent lip line and lip blush are a great investment for people who want to look their best all day, every day.

Permanent lip line and lip blush are ideal for those:

  • With known sensitivity to make-up
  • With no time to apply make-up daily
  • To avoid make-up smudges
  • To avoid touch ups during the day
  • Who do a lot of sport, especially swimming
  • To have beautiful lips permanently on holiday
  • Looking for a specific shape and shade
  • Looking to try a new trend in style
  • Wanting to retain permanent shape, size & volume
  • Correction for asymmetry or receded lips
  • Looking for long lasting beautiful lips
  • Save Time & Save Money

Does it hurt?

The treatment procedure is virtually painless. A topical anesthetic cream is applied to the skin prior to the treatment. Some mild discomfort may be experienced on the first needling pass over the lips, clients often describe this feeling to be similar to mesotherapy micro-needling. Lips continue to anesthetised throughout the treatment, managing any signs of discomfort.

The needles used in the device are micro size and nothing to be afraid of; your practitioner will ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible, her expertise has been known for her clients to even fall asleep during procedure.

How many treatments do I need?

You will require two treatments to complete the procedure and gain an accomplished look.

Your second treatment should be taken 6 weeks after your initial treatment.

How quickly will I see the results?

Results can be seen immediately post treatment, lips may appear slightly darker you may experience swollen skin or inflamed new lips until the healing is in process. Usually, the colour will fade by around 60% before your second treatment. The completed desired results will be fully visible after your second treatment is complete.

How long will the results last?

Your permanent brows should last for around between 1 to 3 years before any top up treatments are needed.
