What will it involve?
Your skin care practitioner will complete a detailed consultation to establish your body concerns, and your body improvement goals, all of which will determine the most suitable  treatment and timings to suit you.

The consultation with a patch test is advised to be taken 48 hours prior to the application of the HIFU body treatment.

Commencing the application of a cool gel, the HIFU body treatment is applied via a probe, covering the area treated every few millimeters to ensure optimum fat reduction, skin stimulation and result. This procedure takes 1/2 hour to 1 1/2 hours depending on the size and location to be treated.

Using the science of HIFU energy to heat fat cells to 60-65 degress will cause rapid cell death by coagulative necrosis, without causing damage to the skin surface.

The HIFU skin lift selectively targets dermal structures, whereby it can be ‘tricked’ into producing new collagen and elastin in response to the perceived injury.
This process will instantly increase cellular regeneration, improving crepey, loose looking skin and leaving the skin looking instantly firmer.

The treatment will continue for 2 to 3 months and result in fat reduction, tightening of loose or sagging skin.

Why have the procedure?
To reduce small pockets of unwanted fatty areas whilst simultaneously tightening the skin.

Does it hurt?
Generally no pain is felt; however you may experience some discomfort from the HIFU energy action when placed over some areas. Care is taken to make it as comfortable as possible.

How many treatments do I need?
A single treatment is generally advised, taken every year. Depending on your  body concern and the results you expect to achieve it may be advised to take a second top up treatment within 6 months.

How quickly will I see the results?
You will see some skin tightening results immediately after the treatment. However the results will develop within the next 2 to 3 months, with continued improvement for up to 6 months.

How long will the results last?
Commencing a single treatment the results can last 1 to 2 years. Depending on your body concerns and the results you expect to achieve it may be advised to take a second top up treatment within 6 months.

The skin of the area treated may feel sensitive post HIFU body treatment.

Immediately post treatment cooling packs may need to be applied to the clients skin.

Treat the area as a sensitive skin, avoid heat treatments, hot bath and swimming for 24 hours.Avoid sun exposure for up to 8 to 12 weeks.
A review of the clients progress is recommended after 6 weeks and again after 12 weeks.

I have recurring milia so I’m constantly coming to see her for extractions. Before my first visit she answered all of my questions and made me feel like she really cared before I’d even met her.
