Some medications have to be out of your system for a certain amount of time before we can treat and some only require extra precaution to be taken.

What will my facial involve?
Your skin care practitioner will complete a thorough consultation to establish your skin care goals and create a facial using some of the following:

The Fresh Up Light exfoliates the skin using a blend of natural herbs; the powerful herbal properties promote an anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effect on active spots along with promoting skin freshness and firming.

The Micro-dermabrasion & LED exfoliates and polishes the skin smoothing away old dull skin along with dried spots and dark eye circles, whilst simultaneously the LED light feature heals the skin.

Steam & Pore Extraction removes blackheads, whiteheads, spots, milia, lumps & bumps.

Hylo Fusion Oxygen Therapy hydrates, soothes and plumps the skin.

Pressure Point Massage is a soothing, relaxing experience for you and your skin.

Why have the procedure?
To improve all skin conditions such as:

The intensity can also be increased and adapted as a skin resurfacing treatment or to simply maintain as a healthy skin.

The intense version of this treatment can promote skin redness and mild peeling post  treatment. These symptoms can last up to a few days therefore it is advised to plan the more intense version.

The pre wedding version is simply a light Micro-dermabrasion & LED followed by layers of soothing and hydrating products with Hylo Fusion Oxygen Therapy to promote a bright and glowing skin.

Does it hurt?
This treatment is generally painless however as each individual has a varied pain threshold and some discomfort may be experienced during the extraction; care is taken to make it as comfortable as possible.

How many treatments do I need?
Your skin care practitioner will endeavor to treat your skin concerns as much as possible in a single treatment; however depending on your skin condition and your skin goals you may need a course of 3 to 5 treatments to achieve desired results.

How quickly will I see the results?
You will see some results immediately after a single treatment and progressively after each session during a course of treatments.

How long will the results last?
Commencing with a single treatment the skin will appear clearer and brighter for several weeks, and up to several months following a course of treatments; however this depends on many factors such as how one cares for one’s skin post treatment, the severity of one’s natural oil production, diet, stress, hormone influences and lifestyle.

Depending on the intensity of the treatment and your skin response the skin may appear red and feel sensitive, with some mild peeling post  treatment. These symptoms can last up to a few days therefore it is advised to plan the more intense version.

Treat the skin as a sensitive skin, avoid exposure to the sun, heat treatments and swimming for 24 hours or until the skin completely appears calm.

Do not exfoliate the skin for up to 48 hours.

For a healthier skin our skin care practitioner will guide you with a personlised home care skin regime.

I have recurring milia so I’m constantly coming to see her for extractions. Before my first visit she answered all of my questions and made me feel like she really cared before I’d even met her.
I have hundreds of milia and every session she has the patience of a saint, removing each one by hand.
It’s a bit of a painful procedure but she’s so lovely and friendly that I feel at ease the second I step through the door and she always works her magic quickly and carefully, using lots of cooling and soothing aftercare to help calm down my skin.
