The skin of the orbital area is thinner and can be prone to loss of skin flaccidity, thus leading to heavy eyelids and loose skin in the under-eye the area.

Gesticulation causes the underlying periorbital muscles to move frequently, which creates expression lines and wrinkles.

There is a high concentration of blood capillaries in this area, which can be affected by tiredness, stress, alcohol, smoking, and some medicines, and which can lead to under eye circles where melanin deposits cause dark skin patches.

The under eye consists of a liquid package, a prime area for fluid to accumulate, which causes these under eye bags.

What will the Global Eyecon Treatment involve?
The treatment program consists of six treatments taken weekly for best results. Planning sufficient time for these is essential.

Your skin care practitioner will arrange a detailed consultation to establish your skin type, condition, and eye contour improvement goals prior to treatment.

The Global Eyecon peel treatment is carried out on the first, third, and fifth treatment. The skin is prepared and the specifically formulated skin peel is applied. Treatment is completed with an eye care product best suited to your skin concerns.

The micro-needling with the transdermal solution is carried out on the second, fourth and sixth treatment. The skin is prepared and the specific needling techniques and transdermal solutions are applied, followed by the collagen cell eye mask to sooth and hydrate the area. The treatment is completed with an eye care product best suited to your skin concerns.

Does Global Eyecon hurt?
Some mild discomfort may be experienced during the Global Eyecon Peel application and during the micro-needling application. Care is taken to make these as comfortable as possible.
Some sensitivity and a sensation of skin tightening may be experienced immediately post treatment, which can be settled with the application of an appropriate eye care product.

How many treatments do I need?
The treatment program consists of 6 treatments taken weekly. A treatment program provides outstanding results. However, depending on your skin concerns and your skin improvement goals, you may need a further treatment program to achieve desired results.

How quickly will I see the results?
You will see skin brightening results immediately. However, it’s on completion of the treatment program that true results become visible.

How long will the results last?
Commencing a treatment program, the eye contour area will appear brighter, firmer and less lined for several months. However, this depends on many factors such as how one cares for one’s eye contour area post treatment, one’s diet, stress levels, hormone influences and lifestyle.

There is a recovery and healing period post the Global Eyecon treatment.

During the first 48 hours it is advised not to expose the area treated to heat, sun, sun bed, UV-light and extreme minus temperatures.

Avoid the use of sauna, or steam room, waxing, hair removal/bleaching, hair dye, AHA’s, BHA’s, Retinal, self-tanning lotions and non-mineral base make-up.

Do not massage or rub the area for 48 hours (cleansing the skin is fine) as this will disperse the pharmaceutical products.

No exercise or massage treatments for 72 hours after the treatment as this will disperse the pharmaceutical products.

Aftercare products will depend on your skin type and skin concerns.

For a healthier skin your skin care practitioner will guide you with a personlised home care skin regime.

It is a MUST to wear Sun Protection SPF 50+ daily.

I have recurring milia so I’m constantly coming to see her for extractions. Before my first visit she answered all of my questions and made me feel like she really cared before I’d even met her.
I have hundreds of milia and every session she has the patience of a saint, removing each one by hand.
It’s a bit of a painful procedure but she’s so lovely and friendly that I feel at ease the second I step through the door and she always works her magic quickly and carefully, using lots of cooling and soothing aftercare to help calm down my skin.
