Holistic Pedicure

A holistic pedicure is more than just trimming nails, smoothing rough spots, and applying a nice polish. It’s a complete foot care experience designed to nurture the health of your feet as a whole.

Common issues like calloused skin, foot fatigue, cracks between toes, and athlete’s foot can arise at any time and affect anyone.

Our feet carry us through life every day—give them the care and attention they deserve.

The Holistic approach

A holistic practitioner will consider all symptoms together as a whole (whether physical or emotional).

The mind-body link

Emotional stress caused by grief, shock, abandonment, mental exhaustion or major life-changes can leave us drained and prone to illness. Stress has been linked to tension, decreased functioning of the immune system and an increased risk of developing obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. A Holistic Pedicure can stimulate the body’s own natural healing mechanism.

What will it involve?

Your practitioner will complete a detailed consultation and medical history to identify the reasons for the treatment and your improvement goals.

Following an assessment, your practitioner can provide you with a treatment plan and timescales to achieve the desired goals.

To start we personalise your treatment room by creating a space that will promote calm, relaxation and balance the nervous system.

The treatment will commence with a soothing foot soak using warm water infused with natural ingredients which may include Epsom salts, essential oils, or herbs.

Then the feet are gently exfoliated to remove dead skin cells, leaving your feet soft and smooth.

Careful trimming and pushing back of cuticles are then carried out to prevent ingrown toenails.

Shaping and buffing nails to a desired length and shape, followed by a gentle buffing to smooth the surface.

A relaxing foot massage using techniques like Swedish massage or reflexology will aid the relieve tension, improve circulation, and reduce stress.

The treatment is complete with the application of a rich moisturiser to hydrate and nourish the skin on your feet.
