What will it involve?
For optimum skin improvement Radio Frequency is best taken after an exfoliation treatment such as a Micro-Dermabrasion & LED, Fresh Up Light or an Chemical Skin Peel to lift layers of unwanted dead skin cells, improving the surface of the skin. The Radio Frequency treatment will stimulate and repair the deeper layers of the skin.
Your skin care practitioner will complete a detailed consultation to establish your skin type, condition, and your skin care improvement goals, all of which will determine the most suitable exfoliation treatment and timings to suit your skin.
Commencing a pre-exfoliation treatment, or simply a cleanse if you opt out from the pre exfoliation treatment, the Radio Frequency is applied.
As the Radio Frequency reaches 40 degrees on the skin it selectively targets dermal structures, whereby it can be ‘tricked’ into producing new collagen and elastin in response to the perceived injury.
This process will instantly increase cellular regeneration, improving tired looking skin, leaving the skin feeling instantly rejuvenated, plumped, smoother, fresh and glowing,  and reducing fine lines and deep wrinkles.

Why have the procedure?
To improve signs of ageing skin, fine lines, deep wrinkles, loss of elasticity in the skin and sun-damaged skin.

Does it hurt?
Generally no pain is felt. However you may experience some heat discomfort of the Radio Frequency when placed over bone areas. Care is taken to make it as comfortable as possible.

How many treatments do I need?
A single treatment will provide an instant rejuvenation effect. However a course of 6 to 8 treatments taken weekly is strongly advised to provide longevity of the anti-ageing skin results.

How quickly will I see the results?
After one treatment the skin will instantly become taut, smooth, fresh and bright. Regular treatments will stimulate collagen and elastin formation, resulting in a much smoother, firmer and more rejuvenated skin.

How long will the results last?
You will see results immediately after a single treatment and progressively over a series of treatments as the new collagen and elastin molecules mature into a well organised matrix in the dermal layer of the skin. This increases volume from within the skin, plumping out fine lines and wrinkles, along with overall improvements in skin tone, sun-damage and ageing skin.

The skin may appear slightly flushed and feel sensitive post Radio Frequency.

Treat the skin as a sensitive skin, avoid heat treatments, hot bath and swimming for 5-7 days or until the skin completely appears calm.

Avoid sun exposure whilst taking the course of treatments.
Avoid heavy exercise, massage ect  – 5-7 days
Aviod sun beds and sun exposure – 2 weeks
Avoid Anti-wrinkle injections for 2 weeks
Avoid Dermal Fillers for 2 weeks

For a healthier skin your skin care practitioner will guide you with a personlised home care skin regime.

Use an SPF50 daily.

I have recurring milia so I’m constantly coming to see her for extractions. Before my first visit she answered all of my questions and made me feel like she really cared before I’d even met her.
