What will it involve?
Your skin care practitioner will complete a detailed consultation to establish your skin type, condition, and skin care improvement goals, all of which will determine the most appropriate Skin Storm application to suit you.

For optimum improvement the Skin Storm treatment is best taken as the full 6 element process. However, there is the option to select specific elements to create a personalised bespoke treatment specific to you and your skin.

 First the skin is cleansed using the Crystal Clear gentle cleanser, followed by the selected elements of your choice.

The Skin Storm 6 Elements are:

1. Hurricane Oxygen Super Cleanse
A world’s-first chilled, oxygenated cleansing system packed with vitamin C and minerals. The oxygenated cleansing solution allows tissue saturation, whilst the vortex deep cleansing action lifts deep impurities for an overall inside out cleaning action. This action attacks the bacteria at source in the sebaceous gland. Oxygen penetrates to the dermis to energise the skin cells.

 2. Resurface & Heal with LED Phototherapy
This process uses the controlled application of the Micro-dermabrasion to lift layers of unwanted dead skin cells, improving the surface of the skin. The intensity of the Micro-dermabrasion is adapted to suit your particular skin and condition.

The LED Phototherapy red and blue light simultaneously penetrate the skin being resurfaced. The blue light promotes an antibacterial environment which kills bacteria found in spots, whilst the red light promotes healing and repair, improving all skin conditions including pigmentation.
Micro-dermabrasion provides a rhythmic vacuum massage, which is known to be relaxing.

It provides an intense vacuum and abrasion action, which via the classic Micro-dermabrasion application can sometimes lead to sensitivity, skin redness and skin tightening. The severity of these symptoms would depend on the intensity of the treatment applied. However, with the added LED Phototherapy healing technology within the Skin Storm system, these adverse symptoms are reduced to a minimum whatever the intensity.

3. Oxy Ice Peel & Oxy Ice Blast
The ultimate AHA skin peel with micro-dermabrasion vacuum action and chilled ice oxygen. High levels of natural AHA’s are delivered via the Skin Storm system to maximum efficacy without negative side effects.

The high levels of oxygenated peel solution effectively break down the intercellular glue, as the vacuum action sloughs away the excess dead skin and sebum. Simultaneously the ice oxygen keeps the skin in a chilled, calm, and de-stressed state, which lowers any inflammation and adverse skin reaction potential, revealing fresh, clear, brighter skin.

4. Oxy Ice Needling with Drone Technology
Oxy Ice Needling is a revolutionary first of its kind needle device, using the classic dermaroller needling applicant in conjunction with the ice oxygen, together with drone technology to create a natural numbing action whilst needling.

The Oxy Ice Needling duo device is designed to perforate the skin so that the active hyaluronic acid ingredients are absorbed via the thousands of epidermal micro-canals.  6. Tri-Fusion LED Phototherapy
Light therapy (phototherapy) using LED (light emitting diode) light sources has been studied for over 30 years. LED light therapy was first used in the medical field as a means of treating cancers and other ailments. Further research revealed that it could also be used in cosmetic applications.

LED Phototherapy can be used for all skin concerns utilising the correct colour of light or infra-red, which can promote a specific treatment function such as repair, healing, stimulation and eradication.

There are several types of LED phototherapy. They are determined by different wavelengths, which absorb light at different levels thus stimulating specific responses in the skin.

Does it hurt?
During the Skin Storm 6 elements treatment there is no discomfort. This treatment creates a chilled, cooling, and calming sensation on the skin.

How many treatments do I need?
Your skin care practitioner will endeavor to treat your skin concerns as much as possible in a single Skin Storm 6 elements treatment. However, depending on your skin condition and your skin goals, you may need a course of 3 to 5 treatments taken bi-weekly to achieve desired results.

How quickly will I see the results?
You will see incredible results immediately after a single Skin Storm 6 elements treatment, and progressively after each session during a course of treatments.

How long will the results last?
Commencing a single Skin Storm 6 elements treatment, the skin will appear clearer, firmer, refreshed, hydrated and brighter for several days, and up to several weeks commencing a course of treatments. However, this depends on many factors such as how one cares for the skin post treatment, the severity of one’s natural oil production, diet, stress, hormone influences and lifestyle.

No specific after care is required.

I have recurring milia so I’m constantly coming to see her for extractions. Before my first visit she answered all of my questions and made me feel like she really cared before I’d even met her.
